In short: VERY HAPPY
In full: First time at this event, and I can not wait till next year. Well worth the 3 and half hour coach journey from Liverpool. Can not fault it in anyway. The T Shirt is the best! That stadium is just fantastic. See you next year.

In short: One of the better races
In full: Plenty of everything - parking, changing rooms, showers, scenery, a stadium start/finish, cheering crowds, water stations, runners of every ability, pubs (for after), a castle, town centre nearby, great marshalls and first aiders, gold medal and a PB likely!

In short: flat course friendly atmosphere and I got a shout out at the finish line!
In full: This was only my second halh marathon and special because I did it 15 minutes faster than the GNR. It is a nice flat course and with a good crowd but still plenty of room to get into a rhythm. It was helped by glorious weather and although running a lap on the track at the end is exhausting it gives it a real race feeling.

In short: Fanastic Race
In full: Other than the slight bottleneck at the start, this is a perfect race for setting a PB. Enough incline to make you concentrate but in no way hilly. A stadium finish through cheering crowds. Guranteed easy parking and a very freindly atmosphere. Not to mention the excellent organisation. A definite every year.
