In short: Good fun - well worth doing!
In full: I agree with previous reviewer that I thought the rain might have put lots of people off - someone was smiling on us - the sun shone at the end! Enjoyable race. Some nice touches this year - artificial snow at the end was lovely! Got a shoutout for Nottingham at the start :-) Better course than 2006, always better to do one route rather than a switchback and great view of Santas as far as the eye could see from the flyover. Nice t-shirt and medal although distribution of these was needlessly complicated. Could do with some more publicity as there were fewer spectators than last year. Thanks to all - will be back next year!

In short: Great race, but something was missing...
In full: Great race, i did the 2005 one, and even with a route change it was as good. But somehow there didnt seem to be a great atmosphere, as you would expect at this time of year. Crowd support seemed very poor, apart from at the finish line, which usually makes an event like this.
Still, it was well organised, and i would do it again as my last race of the year.

In short: Another christmas cracker!
In full: My 3rd Santa Dash and I still love it. I thought the rain might put people off but there was still a fair turn out. Probably not record breaking though sadly.
It was a new course this year which I found far to windy- too many people trying to fit down those narrow back roads. I managed a fair time last year but o chance this year as I kept having to run/walk due to the volume of runners where I was, slleighs, dogs, babies, buggies etc. All added to the atmosphere though.
Even better is Wetherspoons for a quick shandy or two afterards. You are out of place if you aren't in a Santa suit!

In short: Where else can you go for a run with afew thousand santas!
In full: My regular gripe about this race is that it doesn't feel terribly safe. Running along with lots of upturned metal road signs feels like an accident waiting to happen. The medal thi year however was top drawer and the teeshirt was better too!

In short: definitely puts you in the christmas spirit & raising money too!
In full: Thouroughly enjoyable morning. I ran with my other half, fifteen year old son & a couple of freinds. We did get seperated - its hard to keeps tabs on each other when everyone looks the same!We started at the back, so couldn't hear the pipers and once we moved it was hard to tell if we had started or not as there was no official start. Great atmosphere all the way round - some good sights ie the Evertonian Elvis, the sleigh with the two children in & plenty more. It was nice to go round some of the streets of Liverpool I wouldn't normally see - great buildings. Excellent goody bag, t shirt & medal at the end - if a litle disorganised! All in a all- a fun run & 2007 - bring it on!
