In short: Half marathon - lovely route
In full: For next year - people should print off (or be given) the map ... easier to follow than instructions, especially when your brain's stopped working. I was glad I did, and so were a dozen others. It's not the hills that get you (there's just the one at the start) but the rough terrain, especially that darned ploughed field. Aren't farmers supposed to flatten a public footpath after ploughing?

In short: Bargain!! But ouch, 20 miles shouldn't be this tough!
In full: Very friendly, well organised, tough but fun! Sweets and Mars bars on the way round, lunch tea and coffee at the end, a Dunstable runners mug thrown in and a decent certificate for all finishers. £8 Bargain!

In full: First off road race and what a pleasure. Loved the wonderful mix of terrain, scenery and weather conditions. Very friendly competitors and well organised by the marshalls. And yes some of the route was unclear but that added to the adventure. Will be back to do the race again and many thanks to the Dunstable club for putting on a superb event.

In short: Be prepared to get lost!
In full: A challenging uphill start is rewarded by stunning views across the Downs. All was well with the race until the 20 mile/half marathon split and then the lack of stewards and limited signs became an issue. Ended up running 15 miles with a detour back up a very steep hill!

In short: Great challenge, good chance you might get lost though!
In full: A fun challenging run, enough hills but luckily ended on flat/downhill. You're given 3 pages of detailed instructions as marshalls are limited (as are signs!) - I was lucky to be running near a Dunstable runner who knew the route (THANK YOU!)
Great food- sweets along the course and rolls and cakes at the finish.
