In short: The organiser's logo says "mud, sweat and hills" - that about sums it up.
In full: Second time running this one. Much, much muddier this year, hence almost 5 mins slower. That may also have been down to the larger field (1000 rather than 400) and quite a few 'single file' sections. Nevertheless, a really enjoyable mudlark for a sunday morning. Very tough, very muddy - I'll be back.

In short: A tough but great race full of mud and water where the marshalls are unbelievable!
In full: Despite it raining heavily the night before - the marshalls were standing in thick mud at many points on the course just to point us in the right direction and give out drinks! A great race, loved it - my legs have stopped aching lets do it again.

In short: Mud, Hills, More Mud, More Hills - Fantastic
In full: Great organisation, fantastic course, guess the wet weather made it even tougher. Good camaraderie. Will do it again next year, but will remember to save some energy for the river crossing at the end, so at least stay on my feet!

In short: thick mud, gloopey mud, liquid mud, sticky mud, etc etc etc
In full: forth time in a row and first time not frozen hard ! mud was the order of the day which isn't a problem for me, but even i was slipping around in my trailfox's. Did more or less same time as last year but much better position !! still beaten by two (very fast) ladies - must try harder next year

I will be back !!!

In short: A Great Break from Marathon Training! Asta la vista. I'll be back!!
In full: Great atmosphere (apart from grumpy old man in gully moaning 'cause someone was walking a few paces!), well organised and well supported. I actually enjoyed the hills!!

In short: Cracking race........or was it cracking shin bones ?
In full: Well done organisers , great job , great marshalling and great cakes . Did I mention it was great ? Probably the muddiest and wettest slog around the country I've done for a long time . This is what running is all about . Pavement plodders must try this .

In short: The mud made it for me, it's a great leveller
In full: Still can't decide whether it's tougher than R'n'T, thogh I have 2 tight hamstrings and a painful knee today. I think that the R'n'T seems to have a better atmosphere but I can't decide why, I shall just have to do them both again next year!
