In full: I was looking for a 10 mile race a week before the Norwich Half to get some quality miles into my legs and this race ticked all the boxes. Very undulating but still flat enough stretch out in places. Very well organised and supported but still trying to find the race times on the webite. A good race and often not enough 10 miles races about. Date of review: November 21, 2011
In short: Second time, excellent again. In full: My second time at this race. The long hill is still there! Organisation spot-on, plenty of marshallers, all encouraging. Good welcome at the finish, with water, fruit juice and bananas. Showers are great. Date of review: November 20, 2011
In short: Lovely foggy weather and great scenary topped off a great track with a couple of tough hills. As a new(ish) runner and my first race, wad pleasantly surprised by the organisation and fluidity of the event. Date of review: November 20, 2011
In short: Hard but rewarding In full: My first ten-miler. Hard hill at 2 1/2 miles, but you're pretty fresh then. The hill at 8 miles is a devil. That's where I lost all the time I had gained. Nice T shirt, and plenty of water, fruit juice and bananas at the finish. Missed the awards-giving. It just seemed to happen, with no warning. Date of review: November 23, 2010
In short: So local for me it would be rude to miss In full: I live 400 yards from the start so get the most perfect race prep possible, lay in, leisurely breakfast, potter about aimlessly than walk to venue.
Excellent running weather this year, cool and hardly any breeze. Its a 10 miler with a bit of challenge as you climb away from the venue and again a bit of a hill at about 8 miles, but there are some very quick miles as well as you lose the height gained early.
Well marshalled and organised. Good tshirt this year as well as fruit juice, water and banana at the finish. I know I will be back for more next November. Date of review: November 22, 2010
