In short: Good race, despite the weather!
In full: I was on for a 1:26 but turned my ankle on a downhill at about half way so jogged the rest for a 1.40. Didn't diminish my positive feelings, this is a great race in lovely setting.

In short: Cold, Wet, Windy but lovely course with plenty of challenging hills.
In full: Bless the Marshalls for standing around in the cold. I'd rather be running, even in those conditions :-)
Very well organised and a clearly marked course. Great location and the scenery in the New Forest was a definite highlight.
My first time in this race, but I'll be back next year with some other victims/friends !!

In short: Very well organised, enjoyable and challenging half matathon
In full: Easy parking, well organised and marshalled. Undulating and interesting course coupled with poor weather made this a challenging half. Very social group of runners on the day. Well done to the marshalls and the canteen ladies, loved the hot drink and bun.

In short: Great race, I found it challenging though.
In full: Great race and scenery. Shame about the weather, it took me an hour for me to get the use of my hands back. But it was all fun. The marshalls deserve a pat on the back. I thought I was mad for running it, but standing there for hours takes something special.

In short: Nice day....for ducks!
In full: First time of entering and wasn't disappointed even by the 10minute long cloud burst at 8 miles. Echo everything thats been said. And a BIG BIG thankyou to all the marshalls - I attempted to thank each and every one as I went around as I hope you all did considering the weather. To stand out there in that weather, they deserve a medal too...or even a stiff scotch!

In short: Wet, windy and some hills! But a warm welcome, good atmosphere and friendly marshals
In full: Did this in the wind and rain last year and back again for more. Wet at the start and then half way round, plenty of playful hills on route but this is a fantastic part of the country to come running. Smooth organisation, smiling friendly marshals all the way round and good company. Nice atmosphere. I'll be back again.

In short: Great course with some nice views of the new forest, undulating but the downs make up for the ups. Horrendous weather but will definately make this race memorable, thanks to all the marshalls!
