In short: Excellent race - great weather and organisation. Will def be back in 2008!
In full: Excellent organisation - nice bun & drinks! Got a pb but maybe that's cause it was my first half! Really enjoyed it and will def be back next year. Lovely scenery and couldn't have asked for better weather. The hill at 7 miles took me a bit by surprise and those last 3 miles felt longer!

In short: Hilly!
In full: Quite a few hills on this one, although amazing scenery and near on perfect running weather more than made up for them, as did the t-shirt, medal, tea & bun at the end - Excellent value for money, very well organised.

In short: Beautiful scenery made the hills much easier to take
In full: Perfect conditions, sunny and mild, fabulous scenery and not as hilly as I was expecting at all. Anyway, what goes up must come down - plenty of downhill as well to take a breather before the next undulation. Enough runners to give it a buzz, but few enough that you can run at your own pace. Good value considering medal, T shirt, drink and bun all included - and good facilities for changing etc. Friendly marshalls. Nice touch having the results on screen at the finish.

Highly recommended; thanks to the organisers for a top event. See you next year!

In short: Really well organised and great value!
In full: All good, no issues. Big thanks to Jacky for helping me around following a recent injury.

Enjoyed the run this morning, not as hard as I was expecting, if I hadnt been nursing an injury it would have been almost perfect.

Will be back again next year. Great value too. £13 for a good race, and a tee shirt! cant ask for much more than that.

In short: Racenewforest does it again!!
In full: Yet again Richard and his team have excelled themselves and staged a tremendous race. Chip timing excellent, great to get instant results on screen at the end. Good atmosphere. Weather helped, apart from a cool headwind on many sections. Most enjoyable, and a PB for me. That said it was my first half marathon outside of two Half Ironman triathlons. Will do more, and definitely back for this race next year!!
