In short: hills mud and rain
In full: managed to run up the stickle path this year but slower overall conditions slimilar to last year. Extra parking and the old ox inn being open was welcome

In short: One of the must-do events of the year
In full: On the way up the Stickle path I always think to myself "why am I doing this again?" - by the end I've always got a smile on my face :)

As always the marshalling and organisation was superb, it's amazing how friendly people can be when they're standing in drizzle!

Nice t-shirt too :) Thanks for a great race, see you next year!

In short: Excellent, well organised and very hilly.
In full: Us Cambridge boys are well-used to mud, but those hills are beasts! Great feeling at the end though and would definately come back next year. Thanks to the organisers for a well-run and friendly event.

In short: Really enjoyed it.!
In full: First time I've done this, probably not quite as hard as Terminator and Rough n Tumble 10. Will definitely be back. Organisation and marshalling excellent.

In short: Love the hills (up & down!) and the mud - the most fun I've had in a race in ages!
In full: I knew this was hilly so just took part for 'fun' and REALLY enjoyed it. The marshalls were all friendly, despite standing in rain for ages, and 1 was giving out Jelly Babies - fab! I had so much fun striding out on the downhills I actually laughed out loud!!! Nice t-shirt & yummy cakes back at HQ

In short: loved the mud and the rain!
In full: Must be mad but the a little bit of sliding around made it more fun! Thought it was very well organised and an excellent atmosphere, a special mention for the runners who were walking up one hill but encouraged me to carry on running! Really liked the t-shirt - a long-sleeved one made a nice change! Marshalls were smiley and friendly even though they had to stand around in the rain for ages!
Well done Doddlers! I'll be back next year.

Nice touch at the finish using people's name and encouraging/congratulating them. I'm not that fast - came in at 1hr 46 mins but felt really pleased overall as run was so enjoyable with nice people

In short: Great run - I'll be back next year
In full: A wonderful run in terrible conditions. The runners had the easy part I felt sorry for the poor marshalls standing out in that weather - for which we are all truly grateful

In short: Tough! Steep! The Weather! Really enjoyed the challenge!
In full: Started well until reached the first hill. Luckily, although i run slow, i gain by being able to walk up hills quicker. The weather reached parts not usually reached without a Heinekan! I've never ran downhill were wind is keeping you still! The stewards were brilliant thoughout smiling and cheering us on..... A very memorable day!

In short: Hard race, made harder this year by foul weather!
In full: Could the arsehole in the red car who dented my silver discovery on leaving the car park (near the station finish) have the decency to contact me so that he can pay for the repairs! Kevin Wheeler (01749 671101)
