In short: Very undulating (hardly any flat parts) but no big hills to worry about. Some lovely scenery especially by reservoir

In short: Scenic & hilly, fantastic organisation
In full: Plenty of parking, cheery marshalls, water stations and a testing course set around Eccup reservoir. All that hill training came in very handy! Very well organised, nice finish area with another drinks station and a paperweight memento for all finishers - different to the usual medal/t-shirt. Will definately be back next year

In short: Harder than it looks!
In full: I can't understand why this course seems so challenging. There are a fair few inclines on the route but they are not particularly steep or lengthy, yet having completed this race twice, I have found it tough on both occasions and run hillier 10 milers far quicker.
That said: It's a lovely scenic route, supportive marshalling, enough water stations and a great atmosphere at the finish. Many thanks to the Abbey Runners.

In short: Beautiful Scenery, well organised and challenging!
In full: This was my first time at running the Eccup 10, and there were a lot of club runners. It was well organised, i applied online and picked up my number on the day. The route was relatively flat for the first 6 miles, then it got 'undulating'! Plenty of water and encouragement from the marshalls along the way. It was a really enjoyable event, and all finishers recieved a little glass trophy; which was a lovely touch. Will be back next year.

In short: Challenging but excellent race!!
In full: Really liked this race, lovely scenery, and lots of undulations. The technical t-shirt you get at the end is worth the entry fee alone! It's a little challenging, especially due to the wind but not too bad, I'll be back next year!

In short: Definitely undulating
In full: A good, friendly and very scenic race. Not much flat - very up and down although uphills fairly gradual. Quite blustery in places with plastic cups blowing down the roads, but happy with my time so may give it another whirl next year.
