In short: Good speed potential, with some good nice spectator spots
In full: This course is undulating, so some people seem to be able to get their PB every year here (not me). There are a few places where loads of spectators come out to cheer, though (as with a lot of races) there are a couple of straights where you won't see anyone for a bit. Moving the runners village might be worth considering - I find it slightly wierd - as though you are at an empty small festival or something. Other races with "closer" runners villages seem to add to the atmosphere a bit more than Bath. That said, generally the atmosphere is quite good. Found parking always quite good, though that's because we find it in town - haven't tried the Park n Ride scheme that they use.

In short: Brilliantly organised, route only OK - fast though.
In full: Adding my review to the Bristol half section reminded me I hadn't done this one - and of the contrasts between the two. This went without a hitch, really well organised, great goody bags. Route OK - nice and flat - though shame it is largely two laps of the same course. Very expensive.

In short: Half an hour to collect my bag with my drink in and warm clothes was not a good end to a below par race.
In full: Better organized than previous years but still not enough loos either at the start or aroud the course, (I lost 14 minutes waining to go to the loo on the course, I was very tempted to go behind a hedge!). I actually saw a marshall smoking (what sort of message does that send, were we slower runners keeping him from his Sunday afternoon visit to the pub? Where were the friendly marshalls all the ones I had dealings with were real grumps. Give me the Great North Run any time!

In short: My first Bath and will be back next year.
In full: this was only my second half marathon the first being 2006 Bristol. In comparison this was by far the better of the two. i also ran this one 10 mins quicker 2:03:32 a pb. Great atmosphere from both other runners and spectators, thank you.
