In full: I would have enjoyed this race more if I had not run in the Beckenham 10K a week earlier. In comparison the marshaling and organization were not as good.

It was a nice 2 lap road course set in a small town. The big hill towards the end of the lap offers a challenge. Worth a run.

In short: Big long tiring weary hill
In full: Half the race seemed to be steeply uphill and the other half down again. Shame there were no road closures but will certainly be back next year

In short: Long fast downhill- slow steep uphill
In full: Having worked on strength for a couple of months I saw this as an opportunity for speed work, long downhill, long steep return to the summit. Psychologically it's 2 miles down & 1 mile up for me! Two laps means you know what to look forward to second time round. Lots of marshalls encouraging us...this could be a regular annual event for me; to assess progress- I must add that my 77yr old dad lives 200m from start and we used the event as an opportunity for family gettogether...so I got double rosy glow, of family there to watch finish.

In short: A very well organised and friendly event.
In full: A nice race, expertly organised especially as there were no road closures. Shame the ford was too deep but the sun even appeared for us towards the end. Oh, and a nice big hill to negotiate.
many thaks to Crowborough runners!

In short: Down, down, down, up, up, up up!!!
In full: Can't really find anything to fault this race. No problems with the organisation. Very well marshalled and glad we didn't have to go through the ford. We even got the sunshine one of the car park marshalls promised!!
