In short: Great race - challenging but well worth the effort
In full: The hills haven't shrunk since last year but the weather was certainly a lot kinder. Good solid, well organised race which delivers everything expected in a race. Well organised and marshalled - very well done Grantham.

In short: A good scenic course with 2 major hills. However, despite the hills I did set a PB so course has potential.
In full: A worthwhile outing but organisation could have been better at the start. Organiser was speaking into a portable P.A. system which could not be heard. Toilets, showers & changing facilities were also not the best. However, marshalls were excellent & the course is scenic & mainly flat & fairly fast, except for 2 hills at 6 & 10 miles. I did set a PB so it can be done on this course!

In short: Scenic route - set a PB!
In full: Second hill was difficult on the legs after 10-11 miles - enjoyed the canal stretch - very well organised - plenty of marshals and drink stations - will def do again.

In short: A great race that is well organised. 2 big hills make it quite a challenging half marthon, but the course is very scenic.

In short: Hilly fun in the Vale of Belvoir, testing route.
In full: Hard to get your best times here but well worth running anyway. two hard hills one 200ft the other 220ft and the rest varies between flat and playfully undulating. Nice glass tankard (not engraved) spot prizes were good, especially the wine one club member got!

In short: flat, flat, BIG HILL, flat, flat, MASSIVE HILL..... flat, flat!
In full: Lovely race - beautifully organised, friendly, nice scenery. Well marshalled with water stations in all the right places. The two hills were hard - especially the second one at 10miles - but it was well worth the trip and I'd do it again. Only thing that baffles me is why so few people were there doing it - I thought it was lovely!
