In short: Very friendly, well organised, hills positioned to kill you off.
In full: I could have done without the petrol fumes of a thousand motorbikes on the first hill but they were all out on a mission for underpriveleged kids so no complaints. By 'eck I hurt!

In short: Excellent race, though a bit challenging for me this year!
In full: Lovely route, fairly small numbers which meant a quick start and amazing weather - bearing in mind what was forecast a bit of wind wasn't too bad. Horrible hills though - first time ever I've walked - and I walked twice! But then I've not being training so hard recently.

And I thought the motorbikes were great - gave me something to look at on the long straight - the riders were very friendly and no threat at all. And several Viragos there so has to be a good thing!

I'll be back and will try harder next year. Great race.

In short: Great race. No grumbles what so ever.
In full: A lovely scenic race. Pleased I chose this over Silverstone. The hills were challenging but there are worse hills in other races. Great organisation. Well marshalled with 4 welome water stops. Mile markers spot on. Shame its not supported by more people. I will certainly spread the word.

In short: A very scenic race with a couple of tough hills, and a stretch along the very picturesque canal towpath.

In short: Very good race, great course, well organised. Good day out!!!
In full: Two hills may have slowed me a little but I finished 3 mins ahead of predicted time, many others reported PB's so don't get hung up on hills, they go down too. Brilliant course, great views, great people. Will be back next year. Mile markers spot on which always helps.
