In short: Flat, fast and friendly
In full: I've done this several times now and it's definitey one of my favourite races. The course is flat (there are a couple of very, very slightly uphill bits, but nothing worthy of note) and has real PB potential. The atmosphere is good and the marshalls friendly all the way round. This year it was chip timed without and increase in price (maybe because it was a late decision?), so it was very good value! I'll keep going back!

In short: Improves every year
In full: I'm biased because I am local, but this race seems to get a bit better each year. It is fairly inexpensive and this year had electronic timing. The organisation seemed smooth and professional, although the atmosphere only existed at the beginning and end of the race.

In short: Good course and well organised.
In full: All very good indeed. Marshalling very good, although I was worried in the last mile that I was going wrong (partly due to gibbering exhaustion but also not many marhsals/signs). Nice finish area, good to have the hall and well-organised tables at the start. Some fast 10K runners seemed annoyed at half-marathon runners getting in the way after the start but I gather it was the other way round last year. Difficult to get this right unless there's more of a stagger at the start. A good day all round.

In short: Quick course, nice route.
In full: Quick course with some inclines but nothing of serious note. Well marshalled apart from the last mile when it could of been a bit better, plenty of water stations.
Much better than the Swindon half which i have run twice, will be back next year.
