In short: More undulating than expected! Driving instructions hopeless if coming from the North!
In full: Apart from driving around for 30 minutes before finding the parking area, the event was well organised and it was a beautiful day. Would also have preferred the extra loop in the first lap and found the course more challenging than expected although not impossible but then I am not a fast runner.
Will probably do this one again now I know where to go.

In short: Pleasant course, good support
In full: Undulating was a fair description, definately not hilly or particularly flat. Running in the park areas was nice, the underpasses not so nice!! The stewards were great. The coach service to and from the start/finish was well organised.

In short: Well worth the 3+ hour drive to get here and organisers extremely helpful. Maybe a bigger field would have made for more of an atmospheere at the track finish? More aggressive commentating too please!

In short: Tough! those little subway cycle tracks take their toll after a few miles. The park and pondss were vertry picturesque but the best bit was the enthusiasm of the marshalls who were fab. Not one for a pb

In short: A well organised traffic free race
In full: Fairlands Valley Spartans put on another great event. My thanks go to the organisers and all the superb marshals because without you races like this would not happen.

In short: Fantasic marshalls, well organised, great for a first timer
In full: This was my first half and it was a fantastic event from start to finish. Race instructions were clear, free bus to and from the venue worked well, nice course (although a little more undulating than I expected!), enthusiastic and plentiful marshalls, good track finish and decent medal, mug and two bananas! Well worth the entry fee. Will be back next year! Thanks to all involved
