In short: Lovely local trail run through the woods at the Lookout.
In full: Another brilliant run in the Lookout woods, which never disappoints. This year slightly damper under foot which made parts of the course a little easier whereas last year may have been more sandy. Always plenty of parking and always well signposted around the course, makes you think they may have done this before. ;-) Will be back again next year for more of the same.

In short: Excellent Challenging scenic route
In full: What can I say - fantastic race. Just completed the 2011 race and set a new PB for 5 miles - not just for cross country but including flat ones too.

The route is actually quite hilly with some short tough hills to overcome. My Garmin shows the first 3/4 mile to be a gradual uphill slog and then some testing hills dotted throughout. The good bit is that the last mile is almost all down hill, resulting in a 7.39 laptime for mile 5, compared with a modest 8.21 for mile 1.

The reason for my PB is purely down to being spurred on and challenged most of the way by an extremely attractive blonde in a blue top with a very nice bottom (sorry, un PC I know) who unfortunately turned her ankle over with about 1 mile to go. Hope you are ok and thanks for helping me set my PB!

Overall fantastic race with great organisation (I entered as a late entry with no fuss and the efficiency of a well oiled german efficient thing). Thanks again, I will be back next year!

In short: A healthy charge through the forest.
In full: I really enjoyed myself this year. Niggle-free and raring to go we all set off, then had to walk for a few seconds across the start line, then it was a bit of a battle to get through the traffic at the back. It was a very large field of runners in deed, but I was soon up with some of my fellow Sandhurst Joggers, of which there seemed to bit a great many, which was nice to see.

I found the course really challenging, with the hills and tight turns, but loved every minute of it and managed to record a great time for me, so one for the diary next year. Highly recommended.

In short: A good mid-week event
In full: Plenty of free parking. Good and challenging route with a fast finish. Never been given a key ring before as a memento. Worth turning up for. Thanks Bracknell Forest Runners. Well done. I`ll be back again.

In short: My Club's Run - Must say good things!
In full: Well, a lovely evening for a make-you-puff jaunt around Bracknell Forest, great scenery and atmosphere

Our marshalls were a little quiet, along with the announcer, but otherwise a challenging hard course, not one for the PBs.. but one to return for..

In short: A Jolly Jaunt in the Woods
In full: Good:
Late registration was very smooth
Well thought out organisation
Event was well sign-posted
Clear mile markers and way-points
Great course through lovely scenery
Weather was perfect
Good parking

Bad
12 quid was a bit steep
All but 3 of the marshals were completely silent. Personally I really appreciate some encouragement and/or information, especially towards the end. Shame because the club had done a grat job overall.
A clock at the end would have been nice.

See you next year

In short: Pleasant off-road race
In full: This year's course seemed hillier than previously, so not one for a PB. Other than that, a good and popular off-road race.

In short: great trail run in the forest
In full: Loved pretty much everything about this race, glad to be able to run in the forest for once in amongst pine cones, tree roots, puddles and sandy patches. Loved the hills, one of them quite big. Must be a popular race as quite a turnout for this event.
