In short: great atmosphere, great support from other runners, a little disappointed they'd packed up by the time we got back but overall a good race

In short: Good race. Well organised.
In full: As above. Was a bit of a bottleneck at the start and the course may be slightly long.

However, well organised, good atmosphere and excellent value for money.

In short: Tough course but well run event
In full: The hill (run twice) is a killer but an otherwise enjoyable event. Well marshalled and signed, although not certain all the km markers were in the right place.

In short: Very well organised!
In full: Well done to the people who organised this for making sure the event even took place because I was there Tuesday and the rugby club was surrounded by water. Didn't really like the two laps but you can't help the weather. Didn't get a very good time either but that's probably my fault. Got to the water stations and realised half of the girls were friends so was great to be cheered on.

In short: Excellent event organised to the highest standards
In full: Congratulations to all involved with ensuring this event went ahead - even the local Council wanted it cancelled on Friday morning. Revised course was superb, the nasty climbs appeared early in each lap, and the rest was fast and flat or downhill. Girls on the water station were the most supportive I have ever seen, and the race atmosphere one of the best I can remember. Fastest time since February 2007, wonderful sunny evening, and great scenery - especially the new Lake District through the park. Well done to you all.

In short: Excellent organisation after a week of extremely adverse conditions.
In full: I would also like to pass on my sincere congratulations and thanks to the organisers of this race who managed to stage the event with only minor changes to the course. When you consider that the Rugby Club and surrounding area was under 2ft of flood water on Tuesday, I think you did an outstanding job. In addition I would also agree that the girls who man the water station are fantastic in their support and really help to boost everyone.

In short: Rearranged course - nothing but praise for organisers and marshalls
In full: With the recent floods I was half expecting to be turned away at the gate, but the race went ahead and I have nothing but praise for the team who rearrnged the course and the marshalls who offered support and warnings of ground that was slippy or hazardous. I achieved a pb to top of a great run. Will be back Thanks

In short: Great race - Excellent organisation
In full: Big thankyou to all the folks who managed to get the race on after all the flooding and all the marshalls (especially the drinks girls who were as loud, if not louder, than last yr)

2 lap course with a couple of short sharp hills (those barriers on the path are a bit dangerous when running downhill)

Will be back next year :)
