In short: The wind, the wind.....
In full: Really well marshalled and loved the limo to take us from car park to Race HQ. Prompt prize giving and the quiet room for changing after the race was great. Great technical t-shirt in a colour that will encourage it to be worn for training nights. Third time I've run this race and the windiest. Challenging hills, cranked up for the second lap. Nearly burst into tears for the last hill at 14 miles.

In short: Real tough test, battling up pretty big hills into gale force winds!
In full: I'll sleep well tonight!
A good challenging course with tasty hills made much harder by huge winds.
Fighting up the hill at 8-9 into the teeth of a gale certainly made you breathe a wee bit harder.
Just managing to stay on your feet was a major victory at times in such brutal conditions!
This is a brilliantly organised race backed up by special marshals along the entire course - a big well done to you all.
You did us all proud on a tough day.

In short: Well organised, encouraging marshals
In full: This is an excellent race for this time of year. It launches you nicely into the 'long' racing season, and is quite a challenges, with the hills coming regularly. There are plenty of stretches in the race that enable you to get into a good rhythm, and for the second year in a row I enjoyed the experience.

The organisation is good, and the marshals very friendly and encouraging.

The only beef: lack of showers.

In short: Worthwhile!
In full: Nicest touch had to be at the crossroads on the second lap when the marshalls shouted your name using the entry numbers to give you support- much appreciated! Great race and am looking forward to doing it again next year.

In short: A good course, great marshalls, a challange, and 1st race next year.
In full: Loved this course, had its ups and downs. The final uphill though, done me in. Not enough, as for me to finish on the home straight, and get a better than expected time. Well done to all the marshalls, and a great tee-shirt to add. See you 2012

In short: I still ache .........
In full: A great event. Technical tee shirt a triumph. Organisation 100%. Last hill on second lap did for me. 1 year older than last year and finished 1 second slower. Must remember to train harder next time (NEXT TIME? I must be bonkers). Excellent preparation for London.
