In short: Friendly local race
In full: Overall a positive experience despite being nowhere near my PB. I can make all kinds of excuses about the hills, the bottlenecks and the rain but at teh end of the day it was probably my fitness. organisation was pretty good, only gripewas having to schlep for bag storage and then being told I had to pay for it (even thought it went to charity).

In short: Friendly, well organised event.
In full: Really enjoyed this race despite the weather. Knocked over a minute off my PB despite the fairly long climb on each lap (which, on the second lap, was a good challenge as you knew it was coming). Last km did seem a little long to me although couldn't say for certain!

In full: This was my second year at this race and thoroughly enjoyed it again. The atmosphere was great despite the weather and the course is a nice mix of road and park with just 2 laps to complete. The chip timing meant no delays at the finish which was a huge improvement on last year. I did it in 55 mins and would recommend this race to anyone. The t-shirt is lovely too. I will be back next year.

In short: I question the measurement of the kilometre markers, particularly the finall k . My PB dissappeared with what seemed to me to be a very long final run in. You have to get these things right.

In short: A great local run for beginners and experts alike
In full: This was my first ever 10k so can't talk from much experience.

I found it friendly and fun. The hill around Alexandra Palace was challenging, though that could say more about my fitness levels than anything else. That said, I achieved my PB so am delighted.

Weather was atrocious so I reckon that probably lessened the number of supporters turning out. (Can't blame them!)

C-class celebs also participated, including some bloke from Eastenders, if that kind of thing attracts you.
