In short: My 2nd 10k here, thought it was brilliant and will probably be back
In full: I remain impressed by the timing system, far better than a lot.

The weather wasn't great but due to the location is was far from being a problem.

Excellent

In short: Pre-race organization quite poor.
In full: On the day, the organization was good. The race briefing was exceptionally clear, however, there seem to have been big omissions pre-race. 1: The race was not licensed with UK Athletics so UK Athletics/power of 10/runbritain do not recognize it. 2: I know many runners were disapointed that the promised medals didn't materialize. 3: The organizers can't even decide what the race is called, sometimes, Chilly 10k other times Polar 10k and other varaiations.
Much of the race technology was very good, with real time results, lap splits, individual printouts.
In general, a good event but which could easily have been so much better.

In short: PB potential
In full: Not the most picturesque course, but I didn't expect it to be. It was great fun running on a race course, achieved a pb - it was flat and fast. Quite challenging as you can see right round the course!

My only gripe was - where were the medals?

In short: I was told not to go too quick on the first lap and did I listen...no!
In full: It certainly lived up to it's name but it was great fun, my first race of the season and got a better time than I expected. I'll be back for the rest of the races this year.

In short: A well organised 10k...with sweets at the end! Shame about the wind and rain!
In full: A great race...shame about the weather, which I'll obviously blame for my time:)

Everything was very well organised. The pack was easy to collect, only a small wait for the toilet and a flat 10k. The wind did hit us as we went around the course...but it could have been worse...the hail could have hit too!

In ref to the medal situation as mentioned by the previous review...we were sent an email to say that the medals were to be sent by post because of a supplier cock up or something like that.

In short: What happened to the medals?
In full: Well organised and good venue. My only small grumble is I thought we were suppose to get a medal when we finished.
