In short: Intense but incredibly satisfying
In full: I hate this run although it's the 4th time I have run the 10K; every time is as challenging as the last. Features the mighty Sidbury Hill which is the toughest challenge on the local circuit (and brings me back for more!). This year, as last featured: Good crowd, losts of mud and lots of hills and a surprisingly good time of 46 mins.

In short: A very tough and challenging race! so pleased i wore my trail shoes, they helped on tricky slippy bits and gave assurance on fast downhill slopes. Like the dog tag medal too!

In short: Tough hills but a lovely race
In full: Some cracking hills and the clay sucking at your feet makes it a great challenge. Army marshalls were fantastic if a little economic with the truth ("All downhill from here, Sir"). Some amazingly good runners here, so why no timing? - I know it's a fun run, but given how good the organisation is, it can't be that hard.

In short: Great fun event & well organised
In full: Probably not the best 10k race to do as your first but only due to the challenging nature of the course. The atmosphere & cheering on by the army marshalls was excellent. Next time i might take on something a bit flatter. Thanks to all involved

In short: Great race over varied challenging terrain, would like to see timing
In full: Great course, well marshalled and organised. Lack of timing will put off many serious runners and sense of anticlimax afterwards with no results. Challenging course can be weather affected so tricky for the unprepared first timer, but very rewarding to complete.
