In short: Challenging route but the scenery is spectacular
In full: The long climb out of Coniston village was a killer but the views from the top made it all worthwhile. A real mixture of terrain: road, dirt tracks, fast rocky decents, wet and boggy paths. Superb organisation and a nice friendly atmosphere. Definitely back next year, hopefully for the whole series.

In short: Great race, really enjoyed
In full: This was my second race of the series and I hope next year I can manage to fit in all four. Personally I think Garburn was even more scenic but this race is also magnificent. Really great fun...let's have more!

In short: First time trail run, challenging to a road runner like me, but a great experience. felt tough at the time but got easier the longer id finished! like child birth i believe!! will be back for the whole series next year though.

In full: After years running the fells just for fun, this was my first trail race and I loved it. Great views, fun people, awe-inspiring race winners, and friendly organization. I'll be back!
