In short: I love this race
In full: This was the race that set me off running a year ago 12 other races later I loved my 2nd go at it.
The people of Lincoln really give this event some support so the atmosphere is very special
Have to agree about goody bag utter rubbish, if there is nothing in it just hand out a medal as other races do. Just a waste of 5500 bags in my view. Needs sorting for next year.

In short: Great local support, terrible goody bag, getting out of car park hard!
In full: Love this race, loads of local support, flat and fast! Shuttle buses great to get you back to the car park! Fab medal but goody bag worst I've ever had! Water, medal, foil blanket and loads of flyers! Grim for such a big event!

In short: far better races for the money/lincoln need to learn
In full: same old issues , parking and useless goody bag . i dread to think of the affect on the environment handing out all those empty plastic bags at the end , just not necessary for a bottle of water and a medal .Wont be spending my hard earned on this race again.

In short: Race itself - great, however getting there, parking and goody bag were awful, no nutrition at all in the bag for when you finish, one bottle of water. Shuttle bus drivers were agressive and unpleasant too just to top it off.

In short: Nice race, however parking a nightmare need more than one car park. Definitely need bins for chips at exit of race village as wasted time at end trying to locate bin! Disappointing goody bag - a chocolate bar would be nice!

In short: A great day with excellent weather
In full: This race has eluded me for 4 years, so I was glad to finally get to run it. The cobbles at the end worried me and they prevented an all out sprint to the end. The walk back to the car park was epic.......the chip buckets would have been better if they were actual bin located between the castle and the Lawn. However, the event had a great buzz to it and the crowd support was good all helped by the great weather. Will do it again next year.

In short: My 1st event, will do again.
In full: Great medal but goody bag and t-shirt not so good. Well organised on the day although parking uneccessarily slow. No web site update ever.
