In short: Certainly undulating, which makes it a challenge, but well organised and great support.
In full: Friendly atmosphere from race organisers, runners and spectators. The course is more challenging than I was expecting, but incredibly well marshalled, enthusiastic support from spectators and some very welcome jelly babies after the mile 8 hill! Thank you!

In short: Bracknell's brilliant half-marathon for first timers..
In full: I entered Bracknell as my first half marathon based on the reviews here on Runners World and definitely wasn't disappointed. I haven't run beyond 10 miles before and didn't really know what to expect but was massively happy to finish in 1 hr 44 mins.

Really impressed with the overall organisation of this race, the countless volunteers and marshalls and the brilliant support along the route. Bracknell has a race to be proud of and I would definitely like to run it again next year.

Please keep up the good work with the organisation of this event because it really does deliver what you'd hope all races would.

In short: Good local race with nice small field.
In full: Second time - last year I PB'd even faster than Reading. This year, not done the training I usually would owing to illness and general laziness.... decided to go sh*t or bust and try to break 1:40 - went out far too fast, almost broke 10k PB - then once over the big hilly bit but just ran out of go - and then it was survival mode - slowest for 3 years at the end. Weather was surprisingly warm once the clouds broke.Lesson learned, next time will not be so silly!Great support all round as ever, thanks to all the volunteers. Best tasting ice cream ever at the finish!

In short: Great in every respect. Would do again. Well done Bracknell
In full: Great support from encouraging marshalls and local residents. Loved the sponges, so refreshing and even the little lads with their water pistols. Will be back. Thank you Bracknell.

In short: Very well organised race
In full: This race had huge support from the organisers and local community all along the course. The route isn't great for a p.b. with too many twists and turns and narrow places.

In short: Harder than I remembered it!
In full: Not a pretty route but brilliantly organised, good value, and lots of local support. Also a nice early start time to leave the rest of the day free. There seemed to be lots of uphill till the end of mile 8 and by then I was too tired to take advantage oft he downhill! Not an easy race.

In short: Absolutely brilliant!
In full: Bracknell you did yourselves proud this morning! Brilliant race from info on the web site pre-race, to parking and everything else involved on the day. The local people/marshalls/water stations cannot be faulted - other races I've done could learn a lot from Bracknell. Plus a generous goody bag. First time I had done the race and will hopefully get to do it again another year.

In short: Challenging in places, extremely well organised and excellent value
In full: A good mix of runners and everyone made to feel welcome. A hilly course in places, well marshalled and a welcome ice-cream van at the end! This was my third year at Bracknell, and definately back next year.
