In short: Scenic and slightly challenging
In full: Loved this race. The off road sections were particularly enjoyable. The marshalling could have been better as traffic still continued to pass us on the quieter parts. The last stretch (mile or so) was good as it was all up hill so it gave me a chance to overtake some of the people who had not reserved their enegery! Definatley will do again!

In short: Good race, if very cold and windy
In full: Nice to see a better turnout this year.
Good fun race in the swirling winds. Undulations made for a pretty tough course.
Very well organised all round!

In short: Good race, shame about the weather!!
In full: Yes, the rain timed itself to perfection with the start!! However, warming up etc wasn't too bad and at least it wasn't too cold.
Good race, good atmosphere and the scenic undulations made for a fairly challenging course.
Slightly better turnout than had been anticipated, particularly in view of the 'challenging' rain & wind.
Well organised all round.

In short: Good, scenic undulating run
In full: This was my first competitive race and it got me hooked!
Quite an undulating tough course, and the ice on the footpaths last year didn't help!
One year on and many races later I'm looking forward to the 2007 race.
This run deserves a much higher turnout.
