In short: Well organised race around the park, mainly flat with a few mean hills! Winners medals a nice surprise
In full: Really well organised race, with plenty of marshalls etc Hot soup was a great way to finish. The course is good, nice to be away from traffic. Only thing that lets it down is the post you have to run round about mile 3.5 as you have to slow right down to avoid going into the road as so then have to get yourself going again. Did this race a couple of years ago when you didn't get a medal so that was a nice surprise.
Will be doing it again

In short: A Very Good 7-Miler
In full: My first time doing a 7 mile run, but I enjoyed every mile. Excellent weather (bright but cold) and a course with some steady inclines presented a mild challenge. I would have preferred to be told on RW that registration for those paying on the day was in the Ice Rink itself rather than the start tent, and that it would cost £1.50 to hire an Ice Rink locker though. Still, a great run with a medal, soup and a cheese roll at the finish- sorted!

In short: Very enjoyable – few cheeky hills
In full: This was my first at this event and my first of the year and I thoroughly enjoyed it. An excellent course, well marshalled and a good atmosphere even though there were only 140 entrants. A few cheeky hills especially at 6½ but that made the finish line all the more rewarding. A big thanks to Juliet and Sara who I had never met before but in our own little group we ran a great race which helped me achieve a brilliant PB. Thank you to Wrekin Runners for a well organised event. Hope to be back next year.

In short: Very enjoyable event - please don't move it!
In full: I really like this race as an early season sharpener so a bit gutted to hear that it will be put back to autumn next year (on the basis of what was actually freak weather -worst in 30 years - bit of an over reaction perhaps). That aside, great race, great marshalls and the out and back makes for good supportive atmoshpere as you pass the others going the other way.

In short: Good day out, with a few surprises towards the end
In full: I enjoyed this one more than the 10k - more space to run, the horses were a bit of a challenge like the couple of hills at the end. Will be back next year. Well done Wrekin Runners for an excellent event. Hope results are posted soon!

In short: Super soup
In full: For a first timer found the race itself fantastic. Just a couple of minor inclines. Marshalls were fantastic giving lots of encouragement. Hope to this next year.

In short: Not as flat as expected
In full: Well organised enjoyable race. If you are looking for a PB this may be tougher than you expect. Some tough inclines and the last one at 6 1/2 although only short was a killer....That said it was enjoyable...
