In short: Fast, flat and exemplary organisation!
In full: A very well run race - well stocked drinks stations, friendly marshalls who were well briefed on what to do, good signposting, ample toilet facilities. Also very well supported by the locals. A great course - fast and pretty much pancake flat. A new pb for me (1:21:44) and finished second lady. Great prizes (down to seventh place overall for both men and women AND up to 5 prizes for each five year age category band).

In short: Once again the marshalling was excellent, as was the policing - thank you. Very good weather and I got close to my PB on this fast course. The views round the respectable housing estates are, well, of respectable housing, the seafront and harbour vie

In short: Sunny, Fast and marshalled brilliantly
In full: A very quick course - flat as a pancake. The 2 laps make pacing easy and the seaside location make it great for the family as well.
Great support from the marshals and a great atmosphere overall.
Broke my 1/2m PB by 15 minutes!

In short: Great P.B course and the Sun always shines too!
In full: The Gosport organisers obviously have strong links with the weather bureau, they shifted the date of this run from last week (unbelievably unpleasant) to this week (cool and sunny). I have run this 3 times and the weather has been identical on each occasion, nice. A definite p.b course and I got mine (1.28.05), yes!. Well marshalled by friendly people, thanks to all of you.

In short: Fast, well organised, great facilities, one of the best
In full: Gosport has just become my favourite half-marathon. Very impressed by the facilities and organisation, and the course is excellent, super-fast and also very scenic along the sea front. Thanks.

In short: Flat, Fast and Fantastic marshalls- what more can you want?
In full: My first road half marathon and it was agony-BUT what a great race! Very well-organised with exceptional marshalling, on a lovely flat course. Nice medal left a glowing feeling at the end- a glow needed as showers were freezing! Thanks to all- well done Gosport RR, see you next year!

In short: This course is so flat you could play play bowls on it!
In full: Two flat, fast laps around the seafront, harbour and residential roads of Gosport.

The organisers and facilities coped perfectly with the huge number of runners - a wide start and outstanding marshalling made the difference.

The lovely weather helped today, and was certainly a little more pleasant that last weekend's deluge in Jersey!

Drink stations were well spaced, and well staffed. In fact, with all the officials, marshalls, helpers, St John Ambulance and Police, I don't think I have ever seen so much race-support at a half-marathon. A real testiment to the organisers.

This is definately the fastest HM course I have run, although today I was limited to 7'30" miling, with a marathon in jst seven day's time. How I wish I could have race it today!

Well done Gosport Road Runners, a brilliant race.

TZ

PS I'd have bought a non-white shirt too, had they not been for the ladies only!

In short: Perfect weather and a flat course
In full: The weather was perfect for running, a slight chill in the air, no wind or rain.

The organisation was good and no problems.

Got a PB by 5 minutes on the flat course compared with Solent Half last month.
