In short: Fast, flat course, well organised, well worth doing despite the early start!

In short: Great race allowing me a PB of sub-60!
In full: Marshalls were really friend after horrendous journey with traffic and missing the start by about 10mins. Not chipped, race time is gun time, so take a timer if you want one. Great in a park, no traffice (except park vans) - def a race for a PB!

In short: A race for all abilties...
In full: 8am start was rather early but my 5am wake-up was amply rewarded.
Perfect PB conditions for this race given the lack of wind, it is mentally tough having to do 3 and-a-half laps but the course is nice and flat and I did manage a new PB. Organisers and marshals were very friendly and encouraging which gave the whole event a relaxed atmosphere. Only slight gripe was a very small number of backmarkers wearing those wretched i-pods who weren't aware of being overtaken, causing last second avoidence swerves. But I must say the vast, vast majority of lapped runners were fine - and big thanks to those who actually shouted encouragement at me!

In short: Very well organised, and 1km markers definitely helped. Fast course, and definite PB potential, and great for 10K beginners like me!

In short: Small, well-organised race in Battersea Park
In full: Just over one-lap of battersea park; great mix of fast and slow runners; perfect if you want to set a time over a shorter distance

In short: A great way to start the weekend
In full: My only gripe about this race was the closed barriers on the way round. There was a real bottle neck at the first one after 500m with 250 runners trying to squeeze through a gap to the side of only about 6 foot. I must have lost 5-10 secs trying to get past this point on the course.

Surely there must be some way the organisers can get the keys for these barriers, and have them temporarily opened for the duration of the race, even if it's only for the first barrier.
