In short: A lovely run. Great intro to mix terrain with just enough hills to make it a challenge. Well organised with lovely people all the way round. And a gorilla to welcome us in! Date of review: October 15, 2007
In short: Fantastic well planned 1st year from a club less than 1 year old In full: Many of the mass participation events could learn a few things by visiting small clubs like PWR. This was a fantastic event that sold out. Given the club is under 1 year old this is a huge achievement. The atmosphere was great the course scenice. Lots of specators in the woods and marshalls.
In short: Tough going but I recommend this race. In full: Excellent course round part of the London Borough of Bromley that would not look out of place in rural Kent. A couple of climbs to sap the strength meant I definitely felt like I had been in a race. Great organisation - particularly as this was the first running of the race. Plus some good support on the course. Date of review: October 15, 2007
In short: Best managed race of the year. In full: Super encouraging and knowledgeable marshalls with proper water stops! Very well marked route with accurate km markers - even though it was multiple terrain and through the woods. Unexpected medal was a bonus although they did run out of bananas by the time I crossed the finish line. Overall - Very impressed and top recommended! Date of review: October 15, 2007
