In short: Very friendly & welcoming for a first-timer with a nice atmosphere
In full: Nothing really bad to say - compared to other races, perhaps the clean-up of empty cups and water bottles could be improved for nxt yr as it's not too great trying to run / jog / walk over a road covered in half full water bottles etc. It made it a bit tricky for the non-club runners at the back. I don't think the gale force wind helped though - seemed to disperse them far and wide. Full marks to all marshalls on the route for sorting and collecting the empties for recycling. Bigger bins / skips on the route next year pls.

In short: A great morning out and enough to keep you hooked on running for the rest of the year.
In full: I came to the race on the back of a poor 3 months of running where I thought I'd lost all the enjoyment. How this race turned all of that around! The support from the thousands of spectators and the general comaradary amongst all of the runners meant that not only did I put in a new P.B, but for the first time in months I actually enjoyed a run. The slight disorganisation at the finish line didn't really cause me any difficulties and certainly didn't spoil what was a very special race.

In short: Carnival atmosphere. Very worthy cause. Wonderful.
In full: Almost everything about this event was superb, though you had to be patient in the vast crowds, just one minor moan, I didn't see ANY km markers en-route and neither did most people. Someone said they were on the road surface, but that's pretty useless when you're sharing the road with eleven thousand other people!! Please can we have some high up on lamp posts next year, but this is a minor point. I WILL do this event again. It was an honour to be part of it. Wonderful, and a fitting tribute to the truly inspirational Jane Tomlinson and her lovely family. If you're a beginner you could be hooked after doing this event!!

In short: Fantastic event - in spite of a few niggles!
In full: This is a great event and a wonderful tribute to a remarkable woman. I'll definitely be back next year. Perhaps a bit of constructive criticism for the organisers. The course should be an accurately measured 10k, runners should be started in front of walkers and preferably segregated by time prediction, marshalls should be better informed as to arrangements, a lot more toilets needed.

In short: Great day.
In full: As someone who is not a good runner - more a slow plod - I really enjoyed myself. More toilets and baggage facilities would be good. If more people enter next year possibly a re-think of the course as there was a bit of congestion every know and then - even for a plodder like me!

In short: A great atmosphere
In full: The Run For All was a great day, with fantastic support, very friendly and helpful marshals, loads of fancy dress, and plenty of bands, etc, to cheer you on. I'm not a seasoned runner, so it's a relief to know there are people of all abilities taking part and you're not going to be mocked for walking part of the course. I didn't hear anyone moaning at all - the only niggles were minor, and I'm sure will be sorted next year. The scouts sorting out the baggage were fantastic, and worked really hard, but 11,000 people need more than one collection tent. The warm-up could have been longer, to allow time for everyone to take part as well as queuing for the toilet. And the Gatorade was sticky! But hey, it was a really memorable day. Thank you to all who had a part in organising it.
