In short: Top race...
In full: A bargain race with a t shirt, medal, powerade drink, lots of water, championchip timing...free trains.. all for under a tenner... compared to some races I have done recently like the Stratford Marathon which I know is a lot longer (but 2 laps) and was twenty odd quid with no t-shirt - no energy drinks (even for a marathon)...
Ricky Tomlinson IS a legend....
Well done Liverpool - just a shame more scousers couldn't be bothered to get out of bed and cheer us on...(bit lonely)..

In short: top race!
In full: sittin on the free train (without the threat of bein chucked off!) i suddenly realised that i had run to new brighton faster then it toke me to get back to moorfields on the train!!

2 complaints (n i am bein picky!)

1. lack of support from some of the race marshells, bout 1k out the tunnel 6 of them were standin avin a laf together not even watchin the race. marshells at liverpool road races are normal amazining in their support, let the side down in an otherwise flawless race.

2. nxt year can we some how run down the prom towards liverpool, i kept seein people tripin up to look behind them at the view, ya know the world heritage site ya saw for bout 20 seconds!

In short: Second Tunnel 10K for me and with organisation like that I'll be back again & again.
In full: I agree with others that the city vs city thing is not really in keeping with the spirit. I think running thru the tunnel is a novel enough concept, having said that the extra sponsorship dosh brought in by Norwich Union was well spent with two water stations enroute and at the start and chip timing. The organisers of this race show how it can be done and set the bar for other races to aim for.

In short: Liverpool always do it well!!!
In full: This was only a 10k..... i ran the Chester 1/2 a few weeks ago & all you had to do was to show your number (even before!!) the race to collect a t-shirt. at the end of the race (as all of your know) no medal? It is the taking part that counts but in LIVERPOOL IT IS ALWAYS DONE BETTER!
