In short: Enjoyable Run
In full: Wasn't aware of the issues with the wrong turn by the leading runners.Enjoyed the run.The wind was tough between 7 - 10 miles. One of the flattest races I've done

In full: The race was going well and so was I until I reached the nine mile point, where there was a prominent junction in the road with two directional arrows, one pointing left and one pointing right. Myself and a group of other runners all chose to go left, which would prove to be costly. Had the junction been marshalled, as all the other junctions up to that point had, there would have been no problem. Unfortunately, as I’m sure the race organiser is now reflecting, a poor decision was made by not having this junction manned.

To add insult to injury the race memento was a fruit loaf

In short: Definite PB potential.
In full: This one is definitely a PB course, I normally do 1:45ish but got 1:38 today! Organisation was faultless, sabotage of race markers could not have been helped!! Do have a couple of improvement ideas:
1. I'd rather pay extra and have bottled water, if not on the course then definitely at the end. 2 Water stations on a HM is not enough if you are doing cups.
2. Support - Very few people around the course and although I do understand marshalls are volunteers, a bit of "well done" etc doesn't go a miss.
Having said that, I came all the way from Birmingham for this and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Thanks for organising.

In short: Fast and ideal marathon preparation
In full: Excellent race for getting a PB - I knocked 2 minutes off mine but should have been more as my training was hampered. Perfect for beginners and a really good course. Would have liked some sort of memento apart from the Bara Brith! Will be hoping for a rapid time next year!

In short: Damn quick!!!
In full: Had heard that this one was fast and the rumours were right! Well organised, almost pancake flat, very quick course on quiet roads and country lanes with barely any traffic. Excellent job Wrexham AC. Only suggestion would be to have a clock at the finish and get the results online a bit quicker.

In short: Excellent for first timers
In full: My first half marathon and a nice course to do the first on! Really flat nice roads and not much traffic.

Last 2 miles is mostly down hill so that helps a lot! Really well run and organized on the day.

In short: Fast and flatish.
In full: The milling around at the start was a bit weird, especially when the huge lorry approached the crowd. However, things went well when the race started and the marshalls were fine. Mile 10 drained so much energy due to the wind and it was a very gentle but relentless incline. The last mile is very fast. Good race for PBs.
