In short: Adventurous Weather and challenging course
In full: Was cursing myself around this course....”never again, never again”.....it was my first hilly race in these sorts of conditions and I found it psychologically challenging. The rain, sleet and winds left me red raw down my right hand side however the buzz after was well worth it!

A special mention has to go to the marshal’s and lovely Goring folk who dragged themselves out of their toasty fire-lit homes to cheer us crazy runners on. One bloke even stopped in his Mini, got out the passenger side and started cheering us all on whilst leaving his (presumed) missus cringing in the driver’s seat! A lot of respect to all - so thank you.

Shame about weather but would have been a beautiful course (why rated as Scenery good).

Organisation - great! Yummy flapjacks at finish, average goody bag and nice medal!

Not sure what happened to the parking situation....couldn’t see any directions to car parks so just parked on side street.

Didn’t wait around for my free tea.

In short: Hilly run with great views normally, this year the never ending torrential rain blocked the view a bit! Hard work due to the weather conditions but great fun none the less! Big thanks to the brave and friendly marshals!

In short: Course should be described as undulating
In full: From description was expecting hills to be more aggressive, turned out not too bad, average road race, did it to fill Sunday morning, great weather but event average

In short: Enjoyable hills, good buzz, pity about timing problems
In full: Very hilly course, starting straight up a hill, and continued up and down for the course, the best bit being the finish, the last 2k or so was a glorious downhill. Pity the chip timing let them down, although once finally updated, my time matched within a second or two to my garmin. Handy that it's so close to the train station for getting there and back.

In short: Good race and well organised
In full: Good turn out and the sun coming out was welcome. The chipping timing went astray and my time was not on the first list. Email to the organisers sorted it out. Anyway I have a Garmin so no issues with the race time. Look forward to next year.

In short: Challenging & hilly. Will def do again.
In full: This was my first time at Goring and I loved it. It was busy at the start with quite a bit of dodging about but that added to the atmosphere. Some problems with the chips but luckily for me mine was pretty accurate.

In short: inaccurate finish times = Lost my interest for 2012
In full: Race was fine, weather fine, start....needed a count down. Sadly the lack of accurate finish times (looks like the chip system failed and backups inaccurate means this shouldnt be a race serious runners consider if you are the type who likes to know your real finish position). Have run it twice now and with the problems they had this year, and alternative races available, I doubt I'll do this again. I'd recommend serious and club runners look at other races and leave this to the fun runners.
