In short: Winter wonderland
In full: It was like a postcard, snow, castles and Pom Pom waving cheerleader ;-) a good run, loved the advice on The B15 Facebook page to "man up" a very well organised and superbly marshalled (Pom Pom waving cheerleader) race, and the cake was great too, wasn't that keen on the T-Shirt (bit boring really) but no other complaints whatsoever

In short: Amazing race - made even more special with the conditions of snow
In full: I could not ask for a better race. Never ran the challenging course before, so was a little wary, but add snow - I was terrified. However, all this did was force a great feeling of comradeship between the runners - which I have to say was second to no other race ever!

The marshals who bravely stood out in the snow cheering us on as a credit the club, and a lot of clubs could learn a thing or too by following Benfleet RC's lead.

In short: Brilliant race!
In full: Fantastic first race of the year! Good route, challenging, with varied terrain and some really stunning views. Can't give enough praise to this year's marshals, encouraging, friendly and helpful despite difficult weather conditions (snow and freezing temperatures). Also nice finishers t-shirt. Not to mention post-race log fire in the 'Roundhouse'. Great event overall!

In short: The best yet!
In full: Where to start? A new course, the most extreme weather and the best marshals I've ever come across. They were awe-inspiring and helped keep spirits up. A special mention to the marshal at mile 11 (ish) - "pom poms" plus Jelly Babies and Mars Bars - who was bright and cheery despite the minus temperatures and horizontal sleet/snow coming down.
Well done BRC

In short: Superbly organised in atrocious conditions. When other races were cancelled due to the weather, Benfleet stayed calm and caried on!
In full: Really friendly. The snow came down but the race went ahead. All the Benfleet RC people were so friendly and helpful.

In short: Wonderful race in arctic conditions!
In full: Huge thanks to the organiser's for putting the race on in what proved to be very challenging conditions.

The marshals were simply out of this world, every few hundred yards with a smile and word of encouragement. It was tough enough running in yesterday's conditions let alone standing about in it!

Well stocked drink stations with plenty of water, juice & jelly babies.

A very challenging course with breathtaking climbs leads to sore limbs today!

Probably the most scenic run I have done and the finisher’s tee-shirt is fantastic souvenir and great quality.

The log fire in the wig-wam was the focal point for camaraderie between runners post run.

10/10

See you next year!
