In short: Good atmosphere the hill wasn't any less steep this year
In full: Much better than last years's due to weather the hill was still hideous it's nice to be made not to wear an i pod as everyone chatted. Rubbish time though.

In short: Lovely race, shame about delayed start
In full: Well organised except for that delay at the start. The cold really got into me. I'm sure that's why I didn't do a PB - nothing to do with that hill that was much steeper on the second lap.
Would love to do it again at a slightly warmer time of year. Well done to all the organisers, marshalls and the race director.

In short: Good course with a tough hill at the end.
In full: Enjoy this course and chose to travel 3 hours to have another go at it. Beat last years time by 5 minutes so I've got to be happy with that. I agree with the previous comments about the goody bags being a little minimal but the t shirt is the best one I think I've had from a race. Only real complaint is one that happens all over. Why, when there are estimated finish time markers, do people start in the wrong section. I spent the first mile stop-starting because of this. It's not exclusive to this race and I praise the organisation otherwise. Special thanks to the runner who gave my car a little shove out of the mud on the way out.

In short: There was mud, there was rain...but it was worth it :o)
In full: This being my first half, I was hoping for a pretty good time. The race itself was delayed by 15 mins due to traffic getting to the site.
The only thing I would say I didn't like about this race was the amount of SPAM I got from the charities after I entered. Most club runners are not doing these races for charity, so perhaps a SPAM opt out option would be useful next year.

Signs at the ladies changing barn - There was no sign saying baggage drop on the ladies barn, so I automatically assumed it was in the mens (as that was where the sign was!) Better signs next year please.

Timing chip - The times on the website are from the starters gun to the finish. I thought the timing chips were given so you could get an accurate time i.e. when you went over the line the first time to when you finish, which would have been 30 seconds off my time for me!

All in all, a good flatish race (apart from mile 12!! :o)) Great to get a PB on and will definately come again next year!

In short: Some sunshine would have enhanced the local views but the marshalls and fellow runners were friendly, the last hill into the showground just about finished me off, but would love to do again.

In short: A nice HM loved it.
In full: Had a great run beat my PB by over 3 mins. Delay at the start, didn't know why and got a bit cold waiting. Was surprised abut the amount of spectators in with the runners at the start. Cups were the worst problem to me I wasn't taking on enough water, next year I will carry my own. Thats just a quibble that didnt spoil a good run. Thanks to all the helpers that without you, events like this wouldn't happen.See you next year.
