In short: Hard work was never so much fun!
In full: I was dreading such a gruelling race but the organisation, encouraging fellow racers and fantastic atmosphere created by Dr Rob meant I enjoyed it immensely. The fancy dress runners lighten the mood even more.

In full: Fantastically orgainsed race and a brilliant way to start the New Year. Very hard and very muddy. Fancy dress was brilliant I went as Virgil from Thunderbirds and couldn't stop laughing when I slipped over and someone chirped up "Thunderbirds are Gone!".

Thanks to Dr Rob and the marshalls ypou can all be proud of allowing us runners a fantastic start to the New Year.

In short: A great way to start 2013
In full: This is a great race to start the year. It's a fun fancy dress plod, no one is going to get a 10k PB, it's you verses the course. And what a course, Dr Rob certainly knows where to find the mud and the climbs!
A BIG thank you to Trionium and all the marshals for getting out of bed to make it all possible and a thank you to the princess (I think you were a Giraffe?) who stopped me from colliding with the runners coming back from the trig’ point!

In short: Amazing scenery, good hilly race.
In full: First time I've done this, though have spectated before due to being a local.
Excellent atmosphere, course is hilly and this year very muddy, but even if you're forced to walk up some of the hills the views from the top more than make up for it. Excellent race.

In short: Absolutely BRILLIANT!
In full: My first ever Knacker Cracker. Having conquered Leith Hill last year, which was superb in every way, this event too didn't disappoint: Again superb organisation, marshals, finish mementoes and stunning scenery. Not for the faint-hearted but, for me, everything was absolutely perfect. Will most definitely return next year, can't wait! Thank you Dr. Rob and everyone on your team, you and your races are simply the BEST!
