In short: Fantastic In full: This was my first ever race and it got me hooked! It seemed very well organised, like clockwork! Apart from a hill (horrible in my opinion!) on both laps, it's quite a simple and easy course.
Will definitely do it again next year, and the year after! Date of review: April 9, 2012
In short: Nicely organised, good value and a challenging little course to boot. In full: My first time at Trowse, and felt very welcome. The twice-traversed hill is not to be underestimated, and this is a varied course that's reasonably undulating - it won't scupper your PB attempt but certainly provides a challenge. The crowds were great, marshals helpful and the whole thing was beautifully organised.
Nice medal and bag of goodies - gratefully received - to cap it all off at the end. Highly recommended race, kudos to CONAC for running a cracking show. Date of review: April 8, 2012
In short: Lovely race again In full: Great race, done this a few times and the sun came out this year. Was warm but not too uncomfortable. Chip timing was great. Well marshalled as always. No more prawn cocktail crips in the goody bag, I get them every time! Loved the creme egg though! Date of review: May 3, 2011
In short: Excellent organisation and an interesting course In full: My 3rd running of this race - I've run it now in snow and hot sunshine - and my slowest (although highest position). The organisation is always excellent. And it needs to be with a reasonable amount of traffic to manage and a lot of faster runners lapping slower ones at narrow points on the course. The goody bag is also generous. Clearly the course is not easy with a substantial kilometre-long hill so not really one for a PB but ratehr one to test yourself on and see how high you can finish Really excellent support in the start/finish area which you pass four times in total. I'd highly recommend it for beginners and experienced runners alike. Date of review: April 26, 2011
In short: Challenging but fun. In full: I didn't know there was a hill in Norfolk, but CONAC found it! The first 2 miles were great, was ticking along nicely. Then came the hill. Not too bad really, but combined with a hot morning, it was a real test of training and stamina. Sadly, I had not prepared for it, and was disappointed with my result, but have only myself to blame. However... I will be back next year to try again. Fantastically well-organised and friendly run. Thank you CONAC for my first Norfolk race. The free tea afterwards hit the spot :) Date of review: April 25, 2011
