In short: Running In A Christmas Card...err but isn't it nearly Easter!
In full: As we were running up and the branches of the trees glistened with snow someone made the comment they thought they had just stepped into Narnia. Although my fingers were frozen and painful despite gloves, with hand warmers inside, the beautiful scenery and wonderful camaraderie with the rest of my fellow runners, and the marshalls lifted your spirits away from the mud, wind and cold. As ever with Trionium events they are tough, and gruelling but about the best in the business for making you smile and have fun despite Dr Rob being a fiend in finding he hardest routes in Surrey. A huge thank you to the marshalls for your support and encouragement and Dr Rob's band of merry helpers who make it all happen very much appreciated you are the real heroes standing around in the cold and wind. Dr Rob as ever a big thank you and look forward to seeing you on Box Hill in June and the steps of doom!!

In short: Beautiful through the snowy woods... when you could lift your eyes from the muddy track
In full: Wonderful marshalls, smiling even in the snow. Nice out-and-back route with more uphill than you expect on the way back. You could feel the temperature drop below zero as you climbed to the top, with a tower looking v pretty in the snow. Love the carrots at the end - and cool hat as well as T-shirt this year.

In short: Again, faultless!
In full: After a 3-hour journey down south, it was lovely to be 'out there' again. Unexpected for this time of year, beautiful wintry scenery greeted us, plus the 'usual' deep puddles and very muddy trails, not forgetting the ever-so-lovely, friendly & smiley marshals. They really deserve a very special thank-you from me, as I was the last finisher. Despite the cold, they were still full of smiles, handing out water and plenty of jelly-babies. Superb encouragement from them all the way - what more could I ask? The organisation was, again, superb, run like clock-work. The much appreciated carrots & Jaffa cakes at the finish, and the unforgettable breakfast made today a most memorable event for me. My sincere thanks also go out to Dr. Rob, for waiting for me at the finish line - you really deserved your breakfast!!! Thanks for giving us all such brilliant events! See you at the 'Munro'.
