In short: Tough but very friendly race in beautiful surroundings In full: My third time running this race, it was as expertly organised as ever. A challenging out & back route with stunning views at half-way. All runners are very encouraging, even the winner was urging us on as he passed us on the way back from the turning point, which I thought was a great effort!. Friendly marshalls, nice t-shirt and breakfast at the end. Thanks to Dr Rob and the marshals. Date of review: March 9, 2011

In short: Very tough and hilly but fantastic feeling when you finished a real achievement. In full: This was my first Trionium and it certainly was not for the faint hearted. The hills were very tough but the sense of achievement was great once finished. Very friendly race I was at the back and had lots of support from other runners - very encouraging. In short: Great event as usual from Trionium In full: No wonder this is in the top three half marathons. Great views, great organisation, excellent after event gifts, as well as a creme egg, with a full english breakfast. One or two runners have mentioned the event being expensive, however you have to look at events like the Kilomathon, Run to the Beat etc and realise how much value for money this event is. Taking into consideration road closures and policing costs this beats the bigger events by far for value for money, atmosphere and scenery. Also the bigger events are making monies for profit, the Trionium events do not. Rant finished.. Well done Rob and his marshals/support team. See you at the Munroe :-) Date of review: March 8, 2011
