In short: As always... fantastic !!!!
In full: This race never fails to disappoint. It has everything - atmosphere, great organisation, friendly marshalls, beautiful scenery, and lovely race mementoes. Bit muddier this year, and managed an early bath at particularly big puddle. Do it next year you won't regret it.

In short: Mud, mud, glorious mud
In full: A true Trionium triumph, from the fun watching the Wife Carrying Race, to the stunning scenery and then the wonderful Trionium touches that make all their races so special. They really do have the best marshalls in the business. A very hard race but oh so rewarding, but next year please can you arrange for it to be less muddy as there were times it seemed more like bog snorkelling! Very many thanks to Dr Rob and all his team.

In short: First time half marathon - fantastically challenging but worth it's weight in gold
In full: As a first timer to the half marathon I knew this would be a really tough challenge. The course was undulating, very muddy and a real test of physical and mental strength. Nevertheless, despite the final tremendous 200m climb to the Tower, the view really does makes it all worthwhile. The stewards were fantastic and thanks to Brian in his role as sweeper, I had company to get me through the last tough few miles and up those killer stairs before the descent to the finish.
A truly wonderful experience and I had even decided before finishing to enter again next year!
