In short: Well Organised Challenging Race
In full: This was my second year and as 2009 organisation was excellent. The crowds pickee me up when needed.
A big thank you to the kind gentleman who ran up the route to hand me a bottle of water at the last drinks startion, because I had dropped my first. I Managed a PB.

In short: Great organisation and superb support and atmosphere
In full: The organisation of parking, picking up race chip, bag storage, toilets and starting line were fantastic, everything was just so smooth. The atmosphere was great and the support along the course was just brilliant. Will be back next year.

In short: Well orgnanised, enjoyable race
In full: My third year running Swindon, and another good one (and a welcomed absence of rain, cf 2009). Thanks to the organsisers, helpers, great marshalls and water station crew, and road side supporters. The stubby water bottles on route were a big improvement (just need to do the same with the energy drinks next year please). Main niggle was having to pick up the timing chips on race day - all was smooth enough, but would be much more convenient going back to the old system of sending chips with race packs and being able to rock up and run.

In short: Superb organisation and a challenging course
In full: Excellent organisation, couldn't criticise anything. One minor niggle - despite being given a goody bag with a 'small' T shirt I got home to measure said shirt and found it was exactly the same size as OH's large. Overall though this race was a joy to take part in

In short: Enough undulating hills to keep you guessing !
In full: Great race, very well organized, not a race for a PB , can get very challenging in the last 2 miles .
Lots of undulating hills , beautiful countryside.
Will definitely do it next year.
Special one since it was my first half!

My advice to someone trying it would be to preserve your energy till 6.5 miles.
Its hilly from around 3.5 to 6.5 mi.
and please keep something for the last 2 miles, the gentle incline will kill you :)

In full: Well done Swindon! I was a bit dubious about collected my race chip on the day - I was expecting long queues and having to race late to the start line. But organisation was excellent and I didn't have to queue for anything! Fantastic race once again - great atmosphere and challenging, scenic, course.
