In short: Are runners really welcome at Frampton?
In full: In a large field there are bound to be some who upset the local people and some things they do cannot be forgiven. But, hey! most of us are just out to have a good run and don't want to upset anyone. I found the locals most stand offish and particularly object to the woman who shouted out of her car window to another motorist suggesting he ran over runners who were returning to race headquarters after the finish. I have never been in an event before where the organisers were so concerned with placating the local residents that at the start the words "enjoy the race" were either missing or lost in a plethora of warnings.
This was my third and probably final run in this event. Runners are obviously not welcome in Frampton and I have no desire to return to such a place

In short: Glad it's over!!
In full: Furthest I've ever run and the last 3 miles were terrible but after a couple of hours (beers!) at home and a bit of hindsight I think I thoroughly enjoyed it . Thanks to all involved in organising / marshalling.

In full: My first 20 mile race, Iwas a bit apprehensive but I shouldn't have worried, everyone, marshalls, locals, runners were so supportive, it carried me round. Lovely scenery. I'll be back!
