In short: Strangely, painfully addictive!
In full: I said this would be the last time I did this race, but I don't know... I guess I'll be back!

On the plus side, the organisation is excellent, the post-race care (water, Lucozade and crisps) is brilliant, the athmosphere is really good, the ladies shirts were great (can I have one!), and this year's goody bag has to be the best I've ever had (even if most of it was for women)!

On the negative side, the 8:30 start is far too early for me, it is a cheekily painful run (I was bang on target at 5k, then came that long drag!), the course is pretty dull, and in spite of a much bigger field there seemed to be less spectators this year. I don't feel that this year's altered start and finish worked; we had no room to move at the start and were all climbing over the roundabout at the end. And then there's that aweful red shirt again - can we guys have another colour please?

In spite of the heat I beat last year's time by just over a minute, but fell short of my target time which was disappointing... until I compared this years results with last year. Only 7 of the first 100 finishers beat their 2008 time; on average they were 2.5 mins slower, and the race itself was over a minute slower than last year. So I guess I did pretty well! :)

This is a taunting race. I really don't know why but I find it addictive. So I guess I'll be back for more next year! :(

In short: Loved it !
In full: Phew HOT .. but a fab run . The car parking situation was DISMAL though and impossible to get out of the car park after.. took over an hour ghastly in the heat of the day. So parking needs to be seriously addressed for next year .

In short: Had been warned about those" hills" but when it came to it they really weren't that bad. Actually quite enjoyed them and I am usually no hill enthusiast! Wasnt planning on the heat-- last 2 k were murder in that sun !
In full: Water station at 8k rather than 9 would have been better. My first ever race so overall impressed. Missed my Pb but I blame that on the heat-- Will aim sub 53 for next year-- hopefully--weather permitting!

In short: Very enjoyable and well organised race
In full: 2nd year that I have done this race, only slight moans were the start was different to last year which meant it was cramped. Last year it started further down the road and was better. My Garmin had the course as 10.23km compared to the correct distance last year.

Great organisation, I was there at 7.45am and had no issues with parking although there was a queue but that is to be expected given the numbers taking part. Did not have any problems getting out afterwards either. Loved the course, challenging hill half way and the undulating second half was interesting.

Great goody bag, and lucazade freebies went down well.

Will definately be back next year, one of my top 3 races.

In short: A tough 10K run!
In full: I love Bluewater and really looked forward to taking part in the 10K run last year. I was forced to pull out due to injury in 2008.
The course was really challenging. However, the friendly stewards and excellent organisation made the event great fun. I will certainly be back next yaer.

In short: Well organised challenging race.
In full: This is my first time competing in this race as I decided to avoid two nearby half marathons. The course is challenging and not the best of all routes but I faced worse. The sun made it hard work especially at 8.30-9.00. One gripe - why separate the start for men/women. Why be a normal race and put them together. But in all it was a really good race to enter. Well organised, good value for a 10k, great t-shirt, medal and goody bag, perfect parking and the best time to start a race. If only all races can start at this time.

In short: Tough course. Great atmosphere. Really enjoyed it.
In full: Thought the organisation was really good - but we got to the site at least an hour before the race started and had no problems with queueing/car parks, etc.
Water stations well manned.
Excellent goody bag. I must be one of the few people who actually like the orange t-shirt - it'll come in very handy for evevning running when the summer is over.
Think the 45 and 50 minute pacers could do with a bit more practice - they both went off far too fast.
Will definately be back next year.

In short: nice work...
In full: good fun, nice all-rounder. Problems relate to getting into the site & not enough toilet paper. nice lot of water on a very hot day, not alot of shade.
