In short: superb route, very tough but rewarding
In full: This is what running is about, off road, interesting route finding, great scenery, and smaller numbers of runners.

In short: The map book was not as detailed as it could be so navigation difficult at times if you had not recced the route. Feed stations were well below par for an event costing this much and covering 56 miles

In short: Fantastic race, great course, brilliant organisation and marshals.
In full: A great day! Brilliant support along the route from the other runners' support crews. Loved the map reading, ran the majority of the race by myself, was 2nd lady and received a big cup! Couldn't be better.

In short: A running gem !
In full: A fantastic race in all respects. The organisation and marshalling were excellent. The crowds and support were really uplifting for an event that is this tough. As my first ultra, and a considerable step up from marathon distance, I loved it and felt supported in all areas.

In short: Great day out
In full: Thanks to the orgasnisers, helpers, supporters and of course the other runners for a wonderful day out. The checkpoints were well stocked and efficient. The map book worked even if my map reading didn't always. The weather and the route were spot on. And the company was superb.

The only things I would change are the price; because I'm a tight so and so and am more used to low cost low key stuff (e.g. fell races such as Edale Skyline...something like £12 with a meal at the end).

And more importantly the finish. It felt shoved round the back of the Whiteair festival, didn't give supporters much of a view, was awkward and involved running on shingle. I think East Brighton park would have worked a lot better.

Cheers and thanks very much - Raymond

In short: Outstanding..downland running at its best
In full: I can safely say that this is one of the most outstanding races I have done in recent years. The organisation was second to none, the support staff were brilliant.

To be able to organise support people, equipment and arrange a race over 56-57 miles and make it appear so smooth and efficient to us runners was a real bonus.

Guys you are the best, I am wearing my L2B t-shirt with pride with a feeling of disbelief that after 9 months of training it is all over.
