In short: Upper body strength required.
In full: Actually quite good fun, the obstacles really take it out of you. Good atmosphere, well organised and marshalled.

In short: Oodles of fun
In full: Totally different from any other race I've done before. Enjoyed most of the obstacles...needed a bit of help over the wall (thank you to the marshall) and not sure I enjoyed the freezing cold water (twice!) about halfway round. Didn't mind the bottlenecking as gave me a bit of a breather :) wish I'd done this as part of a team as think it would have been a good laugh-not so much fun solo! Really wasn't necessary for an ultra competitive guy to push me over with his enthusiasm to get past, if you want to race it then don't start in wave 11!! Def needed water at the end. But all in all a fun day out..I probably won't trek 3 hours to Nottingham again but have signed up for the new London one next week so it cant have been that bad!!

In short: Great race, lots of fun and camaraderie from other runners! A good tip is not to wear the UA T-shirt during the race, as it will never look the same after! Wear an old one of your own, and have the UA 1 to wear with pride after!

In short: An enjoyable race will do it again, trying to get my mates to do it next year.
In full: A good race but lost my Nike+ wont wear it next year. My only complaints are that the scramble net had boken bricks in it , dont mind the mud byt broken bricks!!, also naff directions to collect number and tag from not sign posted and alot of people travelled a great distance to do this race.
