In short: Muddy fun!
In full: Lots of hills and mud, very well organised with a good mixture of people doing it for a laugh as well as those taking it seriously. Only downsides are that it's more like a run/walk as some of the course is so narrow you can only go as fast as the people in front of you. I think I walked almost as much as I ran which was pretty frustrating. Also, although we arrived early the car park must have already been full as we were told to park on a side road which was a good 1.5 mile walk to the start/finish. Not what you need when you're tired, cold and wet.

In short: Very good
In full: Very well organised, good race.

A bit disipointed that it took 5/6 miles before you were forced into water/puddles but from the Bog of Doom onwards its what Hellrunner was all about.

In short: Was the mud replaced with more uphill bits this year!
In full: Definitely drier than previous events but some superb sploshing opportunities! Great scenery and camaraderie. Terrific event - only gripe £10 for a replacement number is incredibly steep given the profits they must be making.

In short: Great Race, if this is what hell is like I am going to start behaving myself!!!!
In full: Hardest run I have ever done, brilliant atmosphere, everyone very friendly & encouraging each other all the way. First 2 miles lulled you into a false sense of security, it was so hard after that, the bog was bad & then just to finish you off there was the hidden hills & water near the end. Will I do it again, try & keep me away. Thanks to everyone involved.

In short: Great race - although quite irritating that there were so many people walking up the hills who weren't considerate enough to let those running past!
