In short: Great Organisation - Good for new runners not intimidating at all - Lots of friendly people
In full: Great Organisation - it went like clockwork for me - right from sigh-up, parking, the start. I'll do the 10k next year.

In short: Undulating fun!
In full: First time I've done the BRTH, very well organised, great atmosphere, lovely undulating scenic course (not too hilly). I even liked the fact it was a lapped course as this allowed you to pace yourself perfectly. Will definitely do it next year. Even had a reasonable goody bag and t shirt (well, good enough for the gym!). My only criticism (a small one at that) were the groups of ladies walking the 5k route 4 abreast who are not au fait with the cry "on your left/right" - either that, or their mp3 players were too loud! Maybe I'm just intolerant..........

In short: PIcturesque and friendly.
In full: The start was delayed. You had to register at 0830 for a 1010 start - it'd have been preferable to receive race number by post. Good marshalling but some confusion on the 21k course it seemed.

In short: Muddy, hilly but all a great atmosphere and fellow runners!
In full: A little apprehensive as this was my first proper race, but felt like I fitted in - all types of runners & all ages, from the Canicross (dog) runners through to serious lyrca clad! And great water station helpers - you kept me going with your cheerie smiles!

The 2-3KM muddy climb was tough, but taken in good heart by all! Plenty of undulations but still managed a 2hrs (PB).

Coming back next year for everything (including the T shirt and Starbucks goodie bag!)

In short: Great Race through some nice woodland
In full: Well organised, enogh loos, great goody bag. Agree with other reviewers about the tough hill at the 1k mark as well as the extra 1k for the half marathoners but it did what it said on the tin and you can't really argue with that. Deserves to be a bit more supported. After the first lap there seemed to be quite big gaps between the competitors which made it feel lonelier than it needed to be. Interesting having the dog runners as well. I thought I was a sheep with the "come by" shouts from behind !

In full: Just wanted to say thanks to the organising team - this was a great course with enough hills to test you.

In short: An off road Half in surprisingly rugged Surrey woodland - fantastic goody bag!
In full: I was late arriving and in despair but apart from that everything went very well. Four laps of wet woodland but everyone seemed in good spirits, even the marshals - which is important to slow runners like me. On a fine sunny day with less mud underfoot this would be even better than it was! Any chance of signposting FROM Farnham next time? Overall, a good day out - and the best goody bag I've ever had, beats FLM into a cocked hat. Well done all.
