In short: A tough muddy race but very good organisation, with efficient and very encouraging marshals.

In short: If all races were like this everyone would run
In full: This race is not about times or placings, splits negative or otherwise. It is about having fun, chatting, eating cake, smiling and enjoying the most amazing race atmosphere. Well done to all who organise, marshall, officiate, sponsor or run as it produces a race to be proud of.

In short: Worth doing...even if it's only for the cakes !
In full: Once again a fantastic race.....Didn't manage to run up the hill, but there's the challenge. I think the only reason I can manage a PB on this course (even better than my road race time) is that I want to get back before all the coffee cake has gone......See you again next year x

In short: Fantastic challenging race in its 2nd year
In full: I was back for a second time as I enjoyed it so much last year. Beat my time too! Fantastic organisation again with friendly marshalls. Only thing that could be improved - still couldn't hear what was said at the start line. Was convinced I was going to run up the 2nd big hill, but had forgotten quite how steep it was... Thanks again for a really enjoyable race

In short: Can't wait for next year - I have to run up that hill !!
In full: Absolutely brilliant....I'm a novice plodder and have never felt out of place....One of those races that you think "What the hell am I doing", but as soon as its over you're already working out a training plan for the next year... The Coffee and Walnut cake makes it all worth while.

In short: A Excellent Race that Asks a Few Questions of Your Legs
In full: A wonderful location for a race that was supremely organized. I really enjoyed the course even the incredibly steep bits the marshall were friendly and the atmosphere was superb. It was also nice to see the sponsor (fast forward) running the race and doing well. I will be back next year.

In short: Very tough course but a great event, glorios surroundings
In full: I must admit I was in two minds as to whether to take part as I had read about the hills and as I had not trained very much I didn't think I would make it round, well I am so glad I took part it was a great race, everyone was friendly, the course was in beautiful countryside, I will be back next year.
