In short: If you need to clear your head ....
In full: ... then this cheeky little race is perfect. When not admiring the views, you're gritting your teeth to climb upwards or watching your footsteps as you fly down. Excellent organisation, a challenging course, good value and great cake :)

In short: Wonderful race, will be back again next year.
In full: Great race, some very steep climbs but some lovely downhills to compensate. And the coffee cake afterwards was divine!

In short: Lovely race
In full: This race was just as good as last year, and the cake was just as lovely too. I brought my daughter with me this time and she really enjoyed it, but struggled with the heat. The only disappointment was when we ran past lots of dug up fields and pathway where last year it was a lovely trail. Shame, but nothing the organisers could do about that.
I loved the coaster. I've got so many t-shirts sat in the back of the wardrobe given out at races, and then I never use them, so this made a welcome change.
I'll be back next year.

In short: PB'ers stick to the flat tarmac, people who want to enjoy a brilliant little race with superb scenery and an excellent atmosphere come and try this!
In full: Brilliant little local race, organised by a church group who could teach some running clubs a thing or two. As everyone says this is not for PB seekers, but I really can't see how running around a flat piece of tarmac trying to shave off the odd second can possibly compare to races like this, they put the pleasure back in running!

I think this has the potential to grow each year and wish the organisers the very best of luck with it, I'll definitely be back next time.

In short: Tough, but incredible views.
In full: Forget PB's! It's over 10k anyway, & a hard hilly trail race.
But postcard views.
It was very hot this year which made it tougher, as there was no shade.
Free cake & drink at end & coaster.

In short: What a tough, but rewarding run
In full: Great scenery, great organisation, one of the toughest runs i have ever undertaken. Really pleased with my sub 50 minute time. The event was excellent from start to finish. I would recommend this run.

In short: Brilliant local race
In full: Fabulous race. Stunning scenery. Well organised. Gorgeous cakes at the finish, although there were some issues with water at the end.
Thanks to the weather, it really lived up to it's name!

In short: Fantastic "local community style" event, well organised, on a challenging but scenic route
In full: A great example of how the smaller, friendly type of event can provide a better experience than the big corporate type races. The cake and personalised certificates at the end were a nice touch too!
