In short: Lovely scenic run
In full: Echo the comments about signposting to the event, but once I'd found it - perfect springtime run, daffodils, crocuses, herds of deer, and there were only two hills and they weren't bad. One of the better t-shirts, too.

In short: An excellent race for club and beginner in super scenery
In full: This was our alternative to the Bath Half (swore not to run it again after last years fiasco). It was a good choice. The route round the castles' grounds was great, with some lovely views, not too challenging hills and well marked and marshalled. Only two minor gripes, firstly we could have done with some direction signs to the event (the Castles signs through town dissappeared at a vital junction and we ended up driving away from Sherborne, with me looking at the map and wondering why we had to orbit the town to get to where we wanted to go). We were also expecting much more of an off road run. In the event, the course was dry and road shoes would have been fine, and we suffered by running in off road shoes. If you do this next year be warned - its not the Inca Trail...
That aside this was a lovely local race, well organised and everything that the bloated Bath Half is not. Well done Yeovil!
